Bean Burgers

Here is our recipe from today's class.



Bean Burgers
1 cup garbanzo beans
1 cup cooked brown rice
1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
1 celery stalk, finely chopped
1 small onion finely chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
2 tablespoons Bragg's or reduced sodium soy sauce
1 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Drain garbanzo beans and mash coarsely. Mix all ingredients. Form into patties and cook in non stick skillet over medium heat until lightly browned on both side. (approx 4 min each side)
